Generator Features

Everything you need to design, generate, and ship a complete NFT collection.

Layer-Based Editor

Drag-and-drop layer system for building generative collections. Stack traits, set rarity weights, and preview combinations in real time.

Animated NFT Support

Build animated NFTs natively — no plugins, no external tools. Export as GIF or layered animation directly from the editor.

Multi-Chain Export

Export collections ready for Solana, Ethereum, and Abstract. Pair with GraveMint to deploy across all supported launchpad chains.

IPFS Metadata

Automated IPFS uploads and on-chain metadata generation. Your collection assets and JSON ship together, ready for mint.

No-Code Workflow

Visual, creator-first design. No code, no command line — just upload your art and start building. Designed for solo creators and small teams.

Credit Card Payments

Pay with credit card — no crypto required to get started. Perfect for new creators bridging from Web2 to Web3.

What it is

Generating a collection has usually meant a Python script, a folder of layers named just so, and a lot of hope that the rarity maths came out right. Everything is fine until you find a hat rendered underneath a head.

GraveForge does the same job visually. You arrange your layers, set how often each trait should appear, write rules for combinations that must never occur, and generate — checking the result before you commit to it.

Three steps to start

  1. 1

    Upload your layers

Add backgrounds, bodies, accessories and anything else, then put them in the order they should stack.

  2. 2

    Set rarity and rules

Tune how often each trait appears, then add rules for combinations that should never happen.

Test a route through your layers before generating anything.

  3. 3

    Generate and hand off

Review the output, then push straight into GraveMint to launch it — or export the assets and metadata.

Everything it can do

Layers and traits

  • Layer management — order, group and preview
  • Trait sets — organise variants per layer
  • Missing-asset detection — catches gaps before you generate
  • Animated assets — not just static art

Rarity engineering

  • Per-trait weights — set how often anything appears
  • Probability curves — shape distribution across a whole layer
  • Rarity inspector — sanity-check the maths before committing

Rules engine

  • Exclusion rules — stop combinations that must never occur
  • Rule chains — compose rules that depend on each other
  • Rule templates — reuse a rule set across projects

Paths

  • Paths and path groups — define distinct routes through your layers
  • Path templates — reuse a structure you have already proven
  • Visual path testing — walk a route and see the result before generating
  • Path analytics — see how routes are distributing

Output

  • Metadata editor — fix names and attributes without regenerating
  • Curated builds — hand-pick what makes the final set
  • Batch export — the whole collection at once
  • IPFS metadata generation — built into the export

Working with others

  • Team access — collaborate on one project
  • Project analytics and activity — see what changed and when
  • Pay by card — start before you hold any crypto
  • Push to GraveMint — launch without moving files by hand

Who it’s for

For artists

  • Anyone who would rather draw than debug a generation script
  • Artists working in layers who want the maths handled
  • Creators making animated collections
  • People who want to see the result before committing to it

For teams

  • Small teams iterating on traits together
  • Projects that need rules enforced, not remembered
  • Anyone launching straight into GraveMint afterwards
  • Builders prototyping a set before committing to a full run

Questions people actually ask

Do I need to write any code?

No. Layers, rarity and rules are all set visually, and the generation runs from there.

Can I make animated NFTs?

Yes. Animated assets are supported alongside static ones.

How do rules work?

You describe combinations that must not occur, and the generator refuses to produce them. Rules can be chained when one depends on another, and saved as templates for reuse.

Can I check a combination before generating the whole set?

Yes — visual path testing walks a specific route through your layers so you can see what it produces first. That is usually where an ordering mistake shows up.

What do I get at the end?

The generated images plus their metadata, with IPFS metadata generation built into the export.

Can I fix a mistake without regenerating everything?

The metadata editor lets you correct names and attributes after the fact, so a typo does not cost you a full run.

Which chains can I export for?

Solana, Ethereum, Base, Polygon, Abstract, Arbitrum and Optimism. Pair it with GraveMint to deploy across the wider multi-chain launchpad.

Do I need crypto to pay?

No — you can pay by card, which means you can build a collection before you hold anything.

Wasn’t this called BoneForge?

Yes. Same product and same features, renamed to fit the rest of the ecosystem, now at graveforge.io.

Things worth knowing

There is no mobile version yet

GraveForge is built for a desktop workflow. Arranging layers and tuning rarity on a phone screen would not be a good experience, so it is not offered rather than offered badly.

Generation quality still depends on your layers

The rules engine stops impossible combinations, but it cannot tell you that a trait is misaligned by a few pixels. Preview and the rarity inspector are there because the tool cannot judge the art for you.
