DEADS Wallet is what you sign with. GraveID is who you are.
DEADS Wallet is the wallet created for you when you sign in with an email — keys you own and can export. GraveID is the account those wallets belong to: your profile, your linked wallets, one login across every product. You can have a GraveID account using a wallet you already own, and never need a DEADS Wallet at all.
Why this exists
Trying anything on-chain has usually started the same way: install a browser extension, copy down twelve words, find somewhere safe to put them, and only then get to the thing you actually came to do. That is a lot of ceremony before any value.
DEADS Wallet moves that ceremony to when you want it. Sign in with an email and you get a working Solana wallet and a working EVM wallet immediately. When you want the keys, you export them — and at that point it is an ordinary self-custodial wallet you can carry anywhere.
Three steps to a working wallet
- 1
Choose email or social
Hit sign in and pick an email address or a social account. There is nothing to install first.
- 2
Enter the code
Your Solana and EVM wallets are created on the spot — real addresses, ready to use.
Export your private key whenever you want it.
- 3
Use it like any wallet
Stake, mint, bid or trade. Signing works exactly the same as a wallet you plugged in yourself.
Everything DEADS Wallet does
A real wallet with a gentler front door — not a simplified one.
Getting in
- An email one-time code — no password to create
- A social account — Google, X, Discord, Apple or GitHub
- No extension to install — nothing to set up before you start
- No seed phrase to copy down first — you can export your key when you want it
What you get
- A Solana wallet — created on first sign-in
- An EVM wallet — created at the same time
- One wallet across every product — the same addresses everywhere
It behaves like any other wallet
- Wired into the app’s normal wallet state, not bolted on beside it
- Signing, staking and transactions follow the identical path as a connected wallet
- Switching between Solana and EVM does not drop your session
- Nothing in the app treats it as a second-class connection
It is yours
- Export your private key at any time — self-custody, on demand
- Link an external wallet — keep using Phantom or MetaMask alongside it
- Take it elsewhere — the exported key imports into any standard wallet
Security
- Two-factor authentication — enrol and manage it from the wallet menu
- Signs you into GraveID — one identity across the ecosystem
The part that matters most
You can export your private key whenever you like. That single capability is the difference between a wallet and an account balance: it means the assets are held by keys you control, and that you can walk away with them to any other wallet at any time without asking anyone.
Questions people actually ask
Is this custodial? Do you hold my funds?
No. You can export your private key at any time, which is what makes it yours rather than a balance we hold on your behalf. The wallet is created for you; it is not operated for you.
What is an embedded wallet?
A wallet that is created inside the app when you sign in, instead of one you install as a browser extension beforehand. It has a real address, signs real transactions, and holds real assets.
Does it work on EVM chains too?
Yes. Signing in creates both a Solana wallet and an EVM wallet, so you are not limited to one family of chains.
Is it the same wallet in every app?
Yes. The whole ecosystem shares one wallet configuration, so the wallet you get on one product is the same wallet on the next.
Can I move to Phantom or MetaMask later?
Yes, in either direction. Export your private key and import it into any wallet you prefer, or link an external wallet you already use to the same account.
Do I need this if I already have a wallet?
No. Connect the wallet you already use. DEADS Wallet exists for people who do not have one yet, or who would rather not install anything.
What if I lose access to my email?
Your email is how you sign in, so treat it as part of your account security. Export your private key and store it safely, and enable two-factor authentication — that way the wallet survives independently of the login.
Which apps have it right now?
It is live on GraveStake, and a DEADS Wallet session signs you into GraveID. It is rolling out across the remaining products.
Things worth knowing
Live on GraveStake, rolling out elsewhere
GraveStake has it today, and a DEADS Wallet session signs you into GraveID. On the other products the email option is still landing — if you do not see it yet, that is why, and connecting an external wallet works everywhere in the meantime.
Your email is part of your account security
Signing in is tied to the email or social account you used. Export your key and turn on two-factor authentication so the wallet does not depend on that one login.
Self-custody means you carry the responsibility
Being able to export your key is the point — but an exported key is exactly as recoverable as any other private key, which is to say not at all if you lose it. Store it the way you would store a seed phrase.
Try it where it is live
GraveStake has it today. Sign in with an email and you will have a wallet before you finish reading this sentence.
